Jersey City Board of Education v. New Age Administrators, Inc., Docket No. A-1237-93 (Sup. Ct. Hudson County, 1993) We represented the Jersey City Public Schools following the State takeover of its operations. We were successful in a non-jury trial in which Judge Ryan determined that two individuals had defrauded the school district in the amount of 1.3 million dollars. With interest, the judgment was more than 1.7 million dollars. The case was affirmed on appeal and the Supreme Court of New Jersey denied certification

Successfully represented the Town of Weehawken, including a successful argument before the New Jersey Supreme Court, against a claim that three firefighters were not promoted because of unlawful political reasons.

David was featured in a front page story in the New Jersey Law Journal concerning his successful efforts on behalf of the Jersey City School District to convert a $300,000 fine imposed as a result of an illegal strike into a college scholarship fund for needy Jersey City students
Atlantic City Mayor
Successfully defended the then Mayor of the City of Atlantic City in a three month jury trial involving an alleged whistleblower claim and was successful in a counterclaim in the same case
Elizabeth and Camden Boards of Education
Successfully defended the Elizabeth and Camden Boards of Education and the Mayor of the City of Hoboken before juries in separate discrimination cases in the United States District Court, Newark and Camden
